FP McCann expands roofing division with Easy-Trim acquisition

Northern Ireland-headquartered precast concrete manufacturer FP McCann has acquired Easy-Trim Roofing and Construction Products, a UK-based firm with £18.1 million (€21m) turnover, as part of its ongoing strategy to expand its presence in the UK construction market.

“The acquisition of Easy-Trim is a fantastic addition to the FP McCann group and a significant step in the growth of our roofing and building products division,” said an FP McCann spokesperson.

“Easy-Trim’s commitment to quality and innovation in roofing accessories aligns perfectly with our own values. This partnership allows us to provide an even more robust and complete offering to the construction industry, reinforcing our position as a one-stop shop for high-performance building materials,” the spokesperson added.

Easy-Trim is recognised for its roofing and construction product solutions, including lead-free flashing and dry-fix roofing systems. FP McCann expects that integrating these products into its existing portfolio will simplify procurement for clients and improve on-site compatibility.

The acquisition also strengthens FP McCann’s roofing division and enhances its ability to serve contractors, developers, and builders. It aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy and ongoing commitment to investing in the UK construction sector.

FP McCann operates nine facilities across England and Scotland, including sites in Lincolnshire, Cheshire, and Glasgow. In its latest financial results, the firm reported a turnover of £415.3 million and a pre-tax profit of £45.9 million for FY2024, up from £40.3 million the previous year.

The acquisition positions FP McCann to consolidate its footprint in the UK construction market while expanding its product range and service offering for roofing and building materials.
