Fitzpatrick & Heavey strengthens national presence through €2m PS Supplies acquisition
Fitzpatrick & Heavey Group has acquired PS Supplies, a long-standing doors and floors supplier in Lobinstown, Co. Meath, for €2 million. The acquisition expands the Group’s nationwide distribution network with the addition of a 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse and showroom, reinforcing its integrated position in Ireland’s construction and building materials market.
Established in 1996, PS Supplies has earned a reputation as a trusted supplier for trade and retail clients, known for its customer service and product expertise. Under the new ownership, the company will retain its name and management, with Brian McKenna continuing as General Manager to ensure stability for employees and customers.
Fitzpatrick & Heavey CEO Ciarán Fitzpatrick said the deal marks a key milestone in the Group’s expansion strategy, complementing earlier mergers such as CTS Construction & Trade Supplies with Eurometals. The company now gains a stronger foothold in Co. Meath, strategically positioned to serve both Dublin and Ireland’s northeast region.
The acquisition aligns with the Group’s multi-million-euro growth plan, which integrates property development with building supply and distribution operations. Fitzpatrick & Heavey currently has over 500 homes under construction nationwide and continues to pursue strategic acquisitions to scale operations and improve supply efficiency across the country.
